Help Promote Safety This Month
If you’re already celebrating the end of school for the kids, the fact that the days are getting longer, or that the weather is getting warmer, we have one more thing to add to your list of things to celebrate this June. Together with the National Safety Council, TrustCare is celebrating National Safety Month, aimed at reducing common injuries and helping you determine how to treat them when they occur.
What Are The Most Common Injuries That Land People In The Hospital?
National Safety Month is broken down into four weeks, each focusing on a common form of injury. These include falling, fatigue, preparation for shooters and other forms of violence, and ergonomics and workplace safety. Additional focus also includes summer safety including heat illnesses, fireworks safety, water safety, and other summer specific injuries.
Although we strive to protect you from these common injuries, we do understand that they are going to happen, and TrustCare can help you more quickly than most emergency rooms. Our primary goal is to help you feel better faster in one of our convenient and comfortable facilities located throughout the city, in close proximity to your workplace, or home. Our services include, among many others, treatment for back and neck pain, eye injuries, cuts, bruises, burns, sprains, fractures, or other common injuries. Although we are a top resource for many injuries, it is important to remember that life threatening or head injuries should be treated at the emergency room.
How Can I Learn More About National Safety Month?
The National Safety Council is a wealth of information and resources that cover all manner of commonplace injuries, how to prevent them, and how to treat them. You can join in on their discussion of these important topics through their Facebook page. In addition, they also have downloadable images, graphics, articles, and factsheets available on their website.
Help TrustCare in celebrating National Safety Month this June, and continue to be vigilant throughout the rest of the year. But most importantly, know that if you do face one of these commonplace injuries, make sure to seek help and treatment as quickly as possible at a TrustCare location near you.
