Spring Cleaning Gone Awry
Spring is a wonderful season that ushers in nicer weather, lighter evenings and quite the honey-do list. With the change in weather we are suddenly motivated to give the yard and house a facelift which often isn't without injury. Kids are back to sports and running through the streets, again not without injury. This time of year people will endure many home improvement and sports injuries.
Honey-Do Nots
If you have decided to do a yard overhaul or build your dream deck, make sure you are ready and well prepared. Having the proper tools and safety gear for your project is essential. Even something as simple as cutting the grass can end with a rock to the eye or stick to the leg. Using ladders is also a major source of injury. Before starting your project make sure that you have the proper ladder for your project, keeping in mind that you should never be climbing all the way to the top of a ladder. Extreme caution should be taken if using power tools or a nail gun.
Sports and Fun
Sports season is ramping back up which means there will be plenty of sprained wrists and ankles that need attention. The warmer weather and longer days mean there is more time for bike riding, park playing and pool time. At TrustCare we are equipped to handle the cuts, sprains and even breaks that spring could throw your child’s way.
