Kids Urgent Care
Our Kids Clinics treat acute and minor conditions in children by providing quick medical attention. We’re open late and weekends giving you peace of mind should you need us. For fevers to nasty weekend scrapes, avoid the emergency room and head to TrustCare Kids where your child will feel better faster.
Meet your pediatric team
Dr. Megan L. Washington
Dr. Washington joined TrustCare in 2021. Prior to joining TrustCare, Dr. Washington practiced at Merit Health Pediatrics in Flowood, Mississippi. She has a special interest in infant and child sleep concerns, breast feeding, ADHD, and behavior issues.
Valerie Morris FNP-C
Valerie is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who joined TrustCare in 2023. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Valerie has spent over 17 years working in pediatrics and has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatric primary care for more than 6 years.
Dr. Tamina McMillian
Dr. McMillan joined TrustCare in 2025. Prior to joining TrustCare, she practiced in Las Vegas, NV and focused on underserved children at the pediatric department at Nevada Health Centers. With expertise in both urgent and primary care pediatrics, she treats immediate issues with a focus on long-term wellness and development.

What To Expect
Some children become nervous or anxious when it’s time to visit the doctor. To help them feel at ease, our clinic has a jungle theme with several rooms offering unique, animal exam room tables. All rooms have wall-mounted interactive tablet screens with puzzles and games for kids (and adults!). The waiting rooms also have interactive lighted wall panels and benches.

Well-Child Visits
Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change. Pediatric well-child visits are an important part of your child’s health from infancy through adolescence.
After-Hours Care
Because kids often get sick outside of regular business hours, our pediatricians are available for weeknight and weekend care.
Sports/Camp Physicals
We do athletic physical exams for our student athletes. During these exams, we ask certain important screening questions prior to athletic participation and do a detailed physical exam.
Vaccinations
X-Rays
Digital X-ray services are available at TrustCare Kids to provide the highest quality care for our patients while avoiding multiple trips to additional locations.
Behavioral Health
We are committed to addressing all aspects of health. Along with medical care, TrustCare Kids offers behavioral health services to address a wide variety of concerns.
Eye Screenings
Our state-of-the-art Vision Screener is a handheld device that quickly and easily detects vision issues on patients from six months of age and up.
COVID-19 Testing
Whether it’s required for school, sports, or jobs, the antigen test will determine if your child has an active COVID-19 infection. Tests are run at our in-clinic labs and results are same day or next day.
Special Needs Assessment
Our team has a wealth of experience with special needs children and work to keep them calm and comfortable during exams.
